Hi,
My name is Ron Rimmer and I live in Orillia, Ontario, Canada. I just wanted to inform everyone on this forum that we are holding our third Canadian Rimmer Reunion this year At Lake Clear, Ontario August 2. The closet town is Eaganville, Ontario. We would love to see some of our cousins from England and the US attend.

Hello Ron
Welcome to our Forum; I could be very tempted to attend but unfortunately the cost of air travel at that time of the year is excessive (school holiday time over here). We could, however, send you some information about UK Rimmers if you let us know what sort of information you would like? I have visited the North Carolina Rimmer Reunion in Statesville (held every year on the last Saturday in July) and done presentations on the origin of our surname, DNA testing, etc.
You would be very welcome to join the Rimmer FHS (payment via our USA Agent, Thomas Jackson Battles of Arkansas) and we already have a couple of Canadian members - from Saskatchewan; we also had a visit from Arnold Rymer of Wisconsin a couple of years ago - so if any of you are thinking of getting over here our Reunion is Sunday, 11th October. If you plan to visit the UK make sure you come to the 'homeland' of the Rimmers, here in Southport.
Take care
Gladys
