Hello everyone! Nice to be here and hope to meet some new cousins, and new friends!

I am not a Rimmer but am related, not got total proof yet but 99% sure :):), through my FAIRCLOUGH'S

In 1870, my maternal great grandfather, JOHN FAIRCLOUGH b 1849 in Tarleton, married JANE BALL b 1847 in Hesketh. They married in Hesketh.

In 1855 a Thomas Ball b 1823, married Catherine Rimmer b 1819. They married in Hesketh. Thomas is related somehow to my JANE BALL, maybe a brother. I need to scrutinize them church records again.

Thomas Ball's father was Thomas and Catherine Rimmer's father was Thomas also. That seems a bit strange, I had really better scrutinize them church records! :):)

Also, in the 1881 census in Hesketh a William Rimmer widow 44yrs and William Rimmer his son of 8yrs, are living as lodgers with my JOHN FAIRCLOUGH and wife JANE and family.

So, there you go, we got to be related, I can feel it in my bones! Now all I need is the paperwork!! :):)
